Phoenix

Eats sulfur after tame. It can shoots fireballs, fly, walk, and swim (you do not dismount when swimming but stay mounted). It cannot land and will always stay in it's flying animation.

  • Taming Food = Archaeopteryx Kibble

Phoenixes poop Silica Pearls and sometimes rarely poop Black Pearls. They are breedable, and lay eggs that look like little fire wyvern eggs.

Taming Strategy

Phoenix is a possible decent combat mount for fighting Scions but not as powerful to go against chieftains or boss

Method 1: Use a fire wyvern (alpha or vanilla), or any other dino that breathes fire, and fly after it, blowing fire. Every time your fire hits, it'll get a bit of taming percentage. Keep blowing fire until tamed.

Method 2: Let someone ride a tamed creature that has high HP and decent defense. This can be used as a bait for the phoenix to attack while you fill it up with Torpor for easier taming! (E.g. Trapping it under an Alpha Quetzal can tank the phoenix's fire breath damage).

Method 3: Get a high level Alpha Bronto, or Titanosaur, and have somebody ride it with some blood vials prepared, then another player has to use Compound Poison Arrows to try and hit it several times, far enough away that they will not be burned by the phoenix's breath attack, but close enough to make sure there's no gap in the torpor process.

After Tame Abilities

Right Click = Fire breath

[C] = Shoots a longer-range missile. Has a very large charge time and somewhat inaccurate.

Easter Bunny

20181123205218 1

Easter bunnies are extremely rare, would be good to tame the first one you see. Level will not matter. It produces herbivore and carnivore treats on wander with rockaroot/vegetable in its inventory.

These treats spoil after 24 hours in the Easter Bunny's inventory and cannot be put in Fridge and does not prolonged by bins. You can, however, use improved fridge mod or bulk fridge mod. Also, an Easter Bunny can only hold 10 Treats for each type in its inventory.

Treats are an instant passive tame and only requires 1 for taming.

Yeti

  • Boss Arena Access = Yes
  • K.O Taming = Yes
  • Passive Taming = No
  • Taming Food = Vegetables

Notes: If one is attacked, all the Yetis around will get aggressive and attack, too.

The Yeti is a very tanky creature. They are decent tames and fairly good mount for early game. They take a very long time to die, and often spawn in crowded areas of the map where it is not recommended to stay in a long-combat scenario. The rewards are pretty poor unless you are looking to get the cosmetics skins they normally drop (top-hats, santa hat dino skins, and candy-cane skins) like most of the other easter egg creatures.

After successfully killing a Yeti, they can be harvested for prime pelt.

They tame like normal Equus. Put your taming food in the zero slot, sneak up behind them and press [E] to feed them, then [E] again to ride, and [E] again to feed any time the icon flashes.

Unicorns Produce Dye on wander, and are breedable.

Oblivion (Primordial Darkness)

Darkness surrounds the Ark

The Global Warning that appears when Oblivion has been Spawned. The warning that Death will come for everyone...

WARNING: IT IS NOT SUGGESTED TO SPAWN THIS CREATURE! THIS CREATURE CAN AND WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING ON YOUR ARK! ONLY SPAWN IF YOU PLAN TO RESTART A SERVER OR SAVE GAME!!!

Oblivion

The only captured photo of Oblivion...

Oblivion (also known as "God" and "Primordial Darkness") is a creature only hinted to be "the end of everything" and "the bringer of Darkness". Oblivion is a DodoRex wrapped in clouds of darkness that goes around on a server destroying everything, killing all creatures and Survivors, wiping out any nearby structure and generally ending the lifespan of ARK. Because of this, it is not suggested to spawn this creature unless you wish to end everything.

Oblivion, Primordial Darkness Stats

The Stats of Oblivion, provided by the "Super Spyglass" mod.

Oblivion cannot be killed by any means other than the AdminCheat "destroymytarget". For this to work, the Admin must walk up to Oblivion and point their Crosshair at it, then executing the command. Due to the insane damage that Oblivion causes, it is suggested that the admin also use the "God" and "EnemyInvisible" command so that they are immune and cannot be targetted by Oblivion.

Darkness recedes

The Global Announcement that appears when Oblivion has been Destroyed via "destroymytarget" command.

ONCE AGAIN, WE RECOMMEND THAT SURVIVORS DO NOT SPAWN THIS CREATURE ON THEIR ARK UNLESS THEY WANT TO END THEIR SAVE GAME DATA! OBLIVION CAN AND WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING AND SHOULD ONLY BE CONSIDERED AS A FUN WAY OUT OF A SERVER/GAME DATA RESET!

Oblivions Spawn code is as follows:

  • Cheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/Extinction/Dinos/DodoRex/God/Oblivion_Character_BP_Core.Oblivion_Character_BP_Core'" 500 0 0 35

Posting this command in will cause Oblivion to spawn at the Survivors position, which may cause that Survivor to perish unless they're in God Mode.

Please also note that using cheat "forcetame" on Oblivion will cause it to perish. It has also been noted that some Survivors have had their game data becoming corrupted on tame, so do not attempt to tame Oblivion.
